Just happen to spot this place while waiting for an appt. Absolutely delicious. I had one of, if not the, best wedge salad ever. And the steak frites were delicious. The service (Sasha?) was very attentive and a delight. If you’re in the area, you owe yourself a quick trip. Their breakfast looks impressive, looking forward to returning.

I just went to MKT Closter after hearing all the hype! It did not disappoint! I had the Haworth salad as pictured and it was delicious. It had the right amount of dressing on it and the breaded chicken was perfect. I tried 3 desserts which were all homemade in house- this chocolate flan, berry pie and an apple pie (not pictured). All three were mouth watering! My favorites were the berry pie and the flan. The berry pie has that crumble toppings! Yummy! And the waitstaff checked on us numerous times, were extremely attentive as did the owners who also checked on us numerous times and could not be more friendly! The food came out in a timely manner. So nice to have this addition to our area. Don’t miss out and give it a try!

Lovely new spot in a cute town. Great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Comfy and perfect to sit in with some friends. Can picture going here a lot with a group of girls or great for families as well! Everything on the menu looks delicious and their kitchen worked fast despite only being open for a few days and being somewhat busy. Owner is very warm and welcoming- love to see it. The whole team was beyond sweet, all checked up on us nicely and provided excellent customer service. Excited to come back. Closter has truly acquired a gem - i can see them becoming the busiest restaurant in town very easily.

Closter’s new local diner, very retro old school vibes with good food and service. Excited to go again Food: excellent, simple and clean. Pancakes were one of the best I had in my life, avocado toast with salmon was solid, meditterenean wrap was very good and the steak tacos were amazing. Constantly filled my cup with good coffee! Service: very nice, polite and accomadating Atmosphere: you leave home and straight here with no effort and feel at home again

This establishment definitely has my stamp of approval and I will be back. Starting with the service, we were seated right away. We never had to call our server over at any point throughout the meal as she was very attentive. My friend and I both liked the extensive menu options and started out with the disco fries. Those were a great appetizer as this place does their fries right; well better than typical fast food quality. The fries came with a nice amount of cheese and bacon making for a flavorful bite each time. The gravy on the side was really good as well and while the fries did not even really need it, the addition was welcomed. We both ordered some of their fried chicken sandwiches, I believe I chose the Bun Jovi which was quite good. They let me substitute the swiss for american cheese, and it came with a nice amount of pastrami on top. The chicken was fried very nicely and I was overall happy with the sandwich. The only con I noticed was that the honey sriracha sauce on the sandwich tasted like hot sauce, or buffalo sauce to me. Normally hot honey is not too overpowering for me, but this had a little extra kick. I am not a fan of spicy food or buffalo sauce, so I did not care for that part but it was not overwhelming thankfully. I would probably try one of their other sandwiches when coming back. This place also has free soda refills which is a huge plus; little things like this go a long way because I did not feel like I had to ration my soda throughout the meal. I was able to relax, and indulge which is how a good meal should be. We were pretty full, so we did not get a chance to try any of the fancy desserts/shakes but their selection looked promising. I also suggest staying open a little bit later; I noticed they close at 8PM on Thursday-Saturday nights, but a lot of diner lovers like myself like to have late night bites. I would definitely recommend coming here and whatever you get, make sure it at least comes with a side of their delicious fries. As I said, this was a positive experience overall and I look forward to my next visit.

We had breakfast at Country MKT Diner and it did not disappoint. There were five of us and we were seated in a comfy booth with plenty of space. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Jeremy, our server, was attentive and took our orders even though we were a little chaotic in the beginning with all the food options available. We got the Lumberjack Pancake Tacos, Breakfast Royale, Lady Sings the Blues pancakes, scrambled eggs and salad and Chicken & Waffles. Everything was delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy and the bacon was inhaled by all. We will be back with family and friends to try more items on the menu.
